About E-Powerline
We are a London gas and electrical inspection company. Our job is to tell you honestly what your property needs, do it properly, and give you a certificate that stands up to scrutiny.
Compliance, done properly
E-Powerline Ltd was set up to do one thing well: keep London properties safe and their owners compliant. We work almost entirely with landlords, letting agents, HMO operators and commercial property managers — people for whom a missing certificate is a real financial and legal problem, not an inconvenience.
The compliance market has a reputation problem, and it is largely earned. Quotes that go up on the day. Reports padded with observations that generate remedial work. Certificates that take a fortnight to arrive. Engineers who cannot explain what they found.
We built this business around not doing those things. Prices are published so you can check them before you call. Reports are written to be read, with observations coded by genuine urgency. And if your property passes cleanly, we tell you that and take payment for the inspection, which is all we quoted for.

Qualified, registered, insured
Anyone can claim to be an engineer. These are the registrations that let us legally certify your property — and that a council or insurer will actually accept.
Gas Safe Registered
Every gas engineer on our team is on the Gas Safe Register. Ask to see the card on the day — they carry it.
NICEIC Registered
Assessed against NICEIC standards for electrical installation, inspection and testing.
NAPIT Approved
Approved contractor status for electrical inspection, testing and certification work.
City & Guilds
Engineers qualified to City & Guilds standards in inspection, testing and certification.
Part P Registered
Registered installers for domestic electrical work notifiable under Building Regulations Part P.
What you can expect from us
The price we quoted
Fixed and VAT inclusive. If something about the property changes the cost, you hear about it before you commit, not while an engineer is halfway through.
Appointments that hold
We give realistic windows and keep them. If an engineer is running late you get a call, because your tenant took time off work.
Reports you can read
Findings in plain English with photographs, coded by real urgency. You will know what must be done now and what can wait.
Tenants treated well
Our engineers deal with tenants directly, courteously and on time. It is your relationship with them that suffers otherwise, not ours.
No invented work
If the property is compliant we say so. We would rather have you back in five years than sell you something you did not need today.
Answering the phone
Around the clock, by an actual person. Compliance deadlines and electrical emergencies do not keep office hours.
